Epilogue
And so, on the day that I was supposed to go back to the US, I misjudged the timing and ended up being too late for my plane! It ended up being a good thing, though, since I didn't have to pay anything extra for them to put me on the same flights the next day, and the people at Capital Normal University were willing to put up with me for another day. So, I got another day in Beijing. Carol (who you see in some of the Great Wall pics, and whose name is really Yan Zhou) showed me around in Beijing some more, but I forgot to bring my camera. This picture is outside of the window where I was staying on my last night.
