Big Orange Crayonmusical thingsThe Pony in the Pancake, The Frank Boscoes, and Missy Bly Valentine's, Albany, NY March 5th, 2005 This show was put together by Laura, who does the radio show Hello Pretty City. It was really nice! Yay for pop bands coming to Albany! The Pony in the Pancake played about ten million fun little songs that lasted for upwards of ten seconds each. It's kinda neat: I met Frank Boscoe before at a Cynthia Nelson show at the Flywheel a while back, and I thought, "hey nice, a person from Albany who likes some of the same music that I do," not knowing that I owned one of his CDs (Territory Songs by the Gazetteers, which I loved and used to play a lot on my radio show). Missy Bly is a rock band (person?) for Burlington, VT. I might even go so far as to call her music Cuddlecore because it reminds me of those bands! Sorry! I didn't mean to exclude you! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Here's a bigger version of this one ![]() Photo notes: Ilford Delta 3200 exposed at 3200, developed in Paterson FX-50 (20ml of A, 20 ml of B, 260 mL of water) at 20 degrees for 11 minutes. I think the developer went bad because the negatives are super pale. Please don't use these elsewhere unless you are in one of the bands or are a nice person. If you would like larger versions of any of these, just write and ask and I'll send them to you (unless you want a million different ones, in which case I might be too lazy). |
