January 3rd, 2026: Oh hi, I seem to have disappeared for 15 years. I decided I didn't want to let this site disappear into the void, or be taken over by AI-generated scam garbage if the domain name elapsed and it fell into the hands of someone unscrupulous. I'm still Nick, I'm still here. I'm also here and here, and you can find me on Bluesky, Mastodon, and YouTube. I think for now I'll just leave this as a record of what was: a kid who loved indie rock and indie pop, wouldn't be diagnosed with ADHD for another 20 years, and was doing his best.
This is the musical section of the site, where I post pictures of people holding guitars, or sometimes holding things that aren't guitars, or even not holding anything at all. Usually there are noises involved, though.
If you've seen this place before, you might remember there being album reviews here, as well. I do! The thing is, I haven't written an album review in a long, long time, and the ones that were here were often incomprehensible. Since there are some band websites and such that still link to them, I didn't want to delete them completely, but decided that I didn't want to feature them. So my ancient shame is hidden in the Island of Misfit Record Reviews.
