This is one of them: the cover is from a copy machine and the label was printed on a slightly messed up inkjet printer. Those kind of things, which I don't know, might make other people mad, for some reason I love. Weird? The songs are all pretty cool. I pretty much got it for the Kincaid song, which I completely forgot when I got it in the mail so I was playing it for the first time and I came to that song and I realized for the first time how much Kincaid can sound like the Secret Stars. I was just listening to it and I was like "this sounds sooo familiar... kinda like Geoff Farina, but not quite.... OH!" Some of my other favorite ones are "MS Money Penny" by The Pecan Sandies, which sounds like indie pop spy movie music, The Bergen Twigs' "Two Way Muzzle" cuz the singer's voice is interesting, and Parachute Splash's "The Nice Channel" because it's funny. So yeah, this is a cool tape. Cheap too, so get it. Total score: 421 out of 421 |
