Big Orange Crayonmusical thingsWolfie Where's Wolfie Parasol Records Mmm. Wolfie. Wolfie is the sweetest, cutest, purest pop band in the universe. They have so much good energy that they can probably cure cancer, or at least cheer you up. If you're already happy, then even better. They have this kinda 50s/60s pop sound with keyboards and maybe a bit of a punk influence that blends together so perfectly that after listening to them you wonder why they don't rule the galaxy. If they did, this would be a better place. But they do their part to make everything seem more beautiful even if they don't have a space empire. But they still should. Where's Wolfie is their second album, after Awful Mess Mystery, which was also amazing. Since then they haven't changed too much, perhaps tried some new things, like the older vibe on "mr. and mrs. season" and the kinda spacey "buying an engine" but the main thing is still their amazingly good pop music with clean undistorted power chords, fun keyboard lines and lots of "na-na-na"s and "la-la"s to sing along with. If you like happiness, you will like Wolfie. If you don't, you're a meanie and I don't like you. Total score: 4721 out of 4721 |
